Petr Cech just announced his partnership into the world of NFTs (non-fungible tokens) with the upcoming ‘Inmortal’ collection.
The football superstar will unveil 1,000 unique mutant elements randomly generated of various rarity in this May – an introduction to the Immortal World, a new metaverse where only the Immortal characters live, which is an ecosystem where only those who are better than average, and pushed themselves beyond the limit live.
Guided by Petr Cech himself and 54 NFT, the new collection will be available to purchase from the middle of next month and brings an innovative world-first feature to the NFT market.
According to an official release, each Inmortal will give collectors a unique opportunity to access that metaverse; which in essence will be a play-to-earn game in the MATIC chain being able to purchase NFT from their digital wallet and credit card as well.
Known as “The Immortal World”, the pioneering feature will subsequently allow owners to will be able to buy custom equipment to give their avatar additional playability and style during adventures in a community-built Metaverse game. The MUTANT and their ITEMS are playable Avatars with different attributes and characteristics that the owner will be able to use and rent in the IMMORTAL FIGHT game.
A pre-sale for the project is now open through Petr Cech Store, while a further 500 guaranteed Mutant pre-sale whitelist passes will be available exclusively through the same channel.
NFT’s, which came into widespread popularity earlier this year, are a form of cryptocurrency asset. Most cryptocurrencies are fungible (or ‘spendable’) tokens that can be exchanged for other cryptocurrencies or spent on goods at places where they’re accepted as currency.
However, NFTs are a one-off digital asset that can be kept on the blockchain and traded or sold as collectibles.
“Inmortal is quite the unique project. It lets every football fan earn some quid in a very interactive and fun play to earn the metaverse that we created!” replay the legendary goalkeeper in a contact with the 54’s staff.
White list applicants will also be able to mint up to three Mutant per digital wallet, while public minting will open in early May.
